Report a Security and Human Rights Grievance to WANEP-Ghana

Community participation in monitoring indicators to identify threats and conflict and reporting on them can lead to mitigating those threats and trends from escalating into violence. This is particularly important in communities that are living in proximity to large scale projects such as mining, oil or gas.

Together with communities in the Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo, Upper East and Western Regions, WANEP-Ghana and FFP have developed some indicators designed specifically to identify and monitor conflict in these extractives-affected communities.

The purpose of this is to help WANEP-Ghana identify issue areas, and through their network of peace-building stakeholders facilitate a coordinated response to mitigate the potential for violence.

Incident types include crime, protests, environmental issues, security incidences. The form below is a platform for individuals to share their experiences and concerns.

The incident reports will be sent to WANEP-Ghana and be kept strictly confidential.
